In this play they HATE each other but of course they didn't hate each other in real life, I don't think they even meet. I hope you enjoy!

Girl: What did you invent?

Boy: I Invented the nuke

Girl: LAME! I invented the first working dishwasher

Boy: Innovation is when you invent something not when you take away kids chores

Girl: At least I didn’t invent something that can blow up a town

Outdoor learning space

Dear The board of trusteesIMG_20170518_122406.jpg

Outdoor learning areas are places where you can learn safely in the nice sun and feel the breeze blow through your hair while you write. That's what I would want to be doing right now but I’m not because the learning space outside room 11 is HORRIFIC! It’s terrible because of all the moss on the bricks, rocks sticking up out of the ground, the seats are too small, we are not kindergarteners we are middle schoolers and I am here to tell you that the courtyard could do with some touching up.

You imagine coming to HNI and you see that courtyard, it’s just shocking. If someone came to HNI and of course they liked it when they get to the courtyard they will just be staring at it, shaking they and asking “what is this place used for?” And when you say it’s a outdoor learning space they will be gone before you can said “supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” and that is the truth. It’s boring and bland; who would ever want to work out there it’s just colourless, lifeless, dull it’s just like plain vanilla.

“I’m just reading my book, yay nothing can go wrong. AHHH!” And there goes that innocent kid that is now missing their two front teeth, thank you very much. The place is dangerous, rocks are poking up out of the ground and that drain is making a very big hole in the middle of the teaching space that can be awfully harmful if you don’t look where you're going, it’s extremely hazardous. “Look person#1, what a complete waste of space”
“Yeah person#2 let's go to a different  learning space”
“OK” That is probably what goes on inside someone's head when they look at what a waste of space the courtyard outside room 11 because believe me it’s the biggest misspent space I have ever seen. It’s big enough for a whole other classroom but still it is unused.

So the new technology block look nice, so does the eating area with the new BBQ tables, so I ask you; why couldn’t we have a nice new outdoor learning space?

Mama Mia Pizza

For term, 1 all the classes got spit into 2 groups. For my class there's 11A and 11B, I'm 11 be so I did Food Tech and 11A did Science Tech. For year 7's which I am our main focus is on designing and making a Mama Mia Pizza and year 8's their own Burger. The thing was that we had to do it with a partner and mine was Mia, Funny right we're making Mama Mia Pizza's and my partners name is Mia. Anyway on side I thought the pizza looked lovely, it was a Shark we called it Jaws and I thought it was really cute what do you think?
And here it is the finished pizza, but the picture is upside down sorry. If you can't see there's Sharks head with it's 3 fins that have ham and salami on it and a BIG smiling mouth with Red capsicum for the teeth. We tried making the eyes but they turned out to just look like glasses so I just went along with it and put on the things that sit on your eyes. The reason there's a line of BBQ sauce down the middle is because we have to share the pizza, I know right I WANT IT ALL! No I'm joking, so we made the line just so we knew where to cut it. I think it turned out GREAT and I wouldn't change a thing, it also tasted AMAZING!🍕
Here we are, one person had to cut or grate the toppings while the other person rolls and makes the dough into the shape you want.

Now to put the pizza sauce on and as you can see I am cutting up onions right now so I'm crying, it's true onions make you cry. To be honest I don't know the teacher had taken this photo...oh well to late now.

And more me crying...will this ever end. Now you can see I had taken WAY to long so my partner came to help me.

Next it was time to put on the toppings together and then put it in the oven. Man Pizza shops do this every day... WOW!

After it came out the oven we were tolled to put it next to our plans to see if it looked anything like we wanted, which it didn't but I still thought it was amazing and tasty.
FINALLY we got to put on our pizza face and show our FANTASTIC Jaws pizza!😁
